Summer Holidays!

Hello everyone!

Ya han llegado las ansiadas vacaciones y tenemos tiempo para relajarnos y divertirnos mucho después del gran esfuerzo que hemos hecho este curso. Para que no os olvidéis de lo aprendido, os cuelgo aquí unas cuantas coitas divertidas. Espero que disfrutéis de las vacaciones y que el curso que viene lo hagáis igual de bien que este.

¡Hora de terminar la asignatura de Social Science!

Estos dos temas ya son los últimos de Social Science. Estamos a punto de terminar la asignatura así que ánimo para el último empujón. Aquí os dejo los contenidos más importantes de los temas 5 y 6 para que vayáis repasando.

UNIT 5

• Lake: Lago  
• River: Río  
• Sea: Mar 
• Beach: Playa 
• Tap: Grifo  
• Snow: Nieve  

1. How can we use water carefully? => ¿Cómo no malgastar agua? 

- Cerrar el grifo mientras nos lavamos los dientes.

- Ducharnos en vez de bañarnos.

- Guardar agua en la nevera para que siempre esté fresca sin tener que dejar     correr el agua.

1. The Sun, the Earth and the Moon=>El Sol, la Tierra y la Luna.

 

The Sun gives us heat and light.
It's a star and it's round.
We can see the Sun during the day.

 The Moon is round.

 We can see the Moon at night.

The Moon moves around the Earth

The Earth moves around the Sun. It takes one year for the Earth to move around the Sun.

Days and nights happen because the Earth is always turning.

3- The days of the week, the seasons and the months of the year=> Los días de la semana, las estaciones y los meses del año.

       *Preguntadles qué día fue ayer y qué día es mañana. También entrará en el examen.- If today is Monday. What day is tomorrow?-> Tomorrow is Tuesday.- If today is Friday. What day was yesterday?-> Yesterday was Thursday.
